Well, it has been pretty quiet here on the blog hasn't it?!! Well that's just how things go...WHEN YOU BUY A HOUSE!!! Jup, you've read that correctly hahaha... The boyfriend and I have been searching for a house of our own last year and we found one :-D We moved into our house in May.
Tsja, het is hier best wel stil op het blog hè?! Nou ja, dat krijg je ook...ALS JE EEN HUIS KOOPT!!! Jep, dat lees je goed hahaha... Mijn vriend en ik hebben vorig jaar naar een huis gezocht en we hebben er dus één gevonden :-D We zijn verhuisd in mei.
Somehow it felt like home from the first moment we checked it out and even more so when it really was about to be ours!
Op de één of andere manier voelde het al als thuis bij de eerste bezichtiging en natuurlijk nog veel meer toen het daadwerkelijk van ons leek te worden!
We have been busy with all kinds of jobs in the house and in the garden (and so many ideas and plans as well!). There's still lots to do, but hey...with time we'll get there...normal life also has to go on right?!
We zijn druk geweest met allerlei klussen in en rondom het huis (och en nog zoveel plannen en ideeën!). Er is nog genoeg te doen hoor, maar met tijd komt dat wel goed...het gewone leven moet ook weer door, toch?!
We're happy to finally have a garden and the surroundings are just lovely with lots of green and even a forest nearby. So there's lots to discover and enjoy while getting to know this new place and we're loving every minute of it!
We zijn zo blij dat we eindelijk een tuin hebben en de omgeving hier is gewoonweg prachtig: veel groen en zelfs bos dichtbij. Genoeg om nog te ontdekken dus en dat doen we dan ook graag!
Oh and that last photo with the boxes? Well, that's my studio oops..hahaha. I will have my own place up at the attic, but before I can make it my own there are other jobs to do first like putting in safe electricity and outlets at the part where the washer and dryer are. Now there's only one outlet and that one holds an extension cord that was supposed to give power to both washer and dryer as well as the boiler? Well that's not so safe, is it?
Ehhh, die laatste foto met al die dozen? Tsja. dat is dus mn studio...oeps...hahaha. Ik krijg een eigen plek op de zolder. Voordat ik het daar echter allemaal op orde kan brengen, moeten er eerst nog klussen gedaan worden zoals aanleggen van betere elektra. Nu is er op de voorzolder slechts 1 stopcontact en daarin zit dan weer een verlengsnoer..daar zouden dan zowel de droger, wasmachine als ketel op moeten? Niet zo heel erg veilig, toch?!
Also other jobs were more on top of the list, but I must say I really really miss my supplies and crafting time! So I've decided that at least I need to carve out a little space somewhere and unpack just a couple of those art supplies and get on going with some new projects. Even though there are still lot's of other jobs to do, I think it is important to get creating again and nourish that creativity. It will also give me some peace of mind about all the other jobs that are still on the list ;-) Just one thing at a time, right?!
Genoeg andere klussen stonden ook al meer bovenaan de lijst, dus ik moet nog even geduld hebben. Wel moet ik zeggen dat ik echt m'n hobbyspul en het creatief bezig zijn mis! Ik heb dus besloten dat ik wel ergens een hoekje moet zien te vinden waar ik kan werken. Even wat spullen uitpakken en lekker aan de gang met wat nieuwe projecten. Ook al is er nog genoeg in het huis zelf te doen, ik denk dat het belangrijk is om weer bezig te zijn en die creativiteit weer wat te voeden. Het zal me waarschijnlijk ook gelijk even wat rust in mn hoofd geven betreffende al die andere klussen ;-)
Well, I don't know when I'll be back, but hope to be there soon! Oh and in the meantime, I might fiddle around with the blog a bit..I mean...a new home, new adventures...I might as well need a new fresh blog ;-)
Nou, ik weet niet wanneer ik hier weer terug ben, maar ik hoop snel! Oh en ondertussen ga ik misschien ook wel even aan de gang met dit blog hier...even wat dingen veranderen... Ik bedoel nieuw huis, nieuwe avonturen...dan kan ik net zo goed het blog ook een beetje vernieuwen ;-)
