Owl in Forest

 Today I can show you my first commissioned work!! I made this owl canvas for an ex-colleague of mine and I'm so glad she and her husband liked it. Madieke thank you so much for the opportunity!

Vandaag kan ik eindelijk mijn eerste werk in opdracht laten zien!! Ik heb dit uil canvas voor een ex-collegaatje gemaakt en ben zo blij dat zij en haar man het mooi vonden. Madieke, dank nogmaals voor deze kans!

So I decided, this IS my moment and I'll be working hard on getting myself out there in the world and my projects out there of course as well ;-) Are you ready for that? Okay, getting organized, getting a new "todo"-schedule board and of course some new supplies...Yup, I'm ready, let's just do this!

Dus mijn beslissing is gemaakt, dit IS mijn moment en ik zal hard aan het werk zijn om mezelf en mijn projecten te laten zien aan de wereld. Zijn jullie daar klaar voor? Ok, organiseren, een nieuw doen-schema en natuurlijk wat nieuwe materialen....Ja, ik ben er klaar voor, laten we dit gewoon doen!

Cup of Tea

Hi!

Today a mixed media canvas with a cup of tea. Who just doesn;t love a good cup of tea?! This one for one of my best girlfriends with whom I love to share lots of cups of tea when we get together.

The word on this one say:

"A cup full...comfort /great stories / just nothing for a moment / coziness / warmth / realxing"

All the thing a good cup of tea can do :-D

Vandaag een mixed media canvas met een kop thee. Wie houdt er nu niet van een goede kop thee?! Deze voor één van mijn beste vriendinnen met wie ik graag veel en grote koppen thee drink wanneer we elkaar weer zien.

De woorden geven aan wat een goede kop thee allemaal voor je kan doen :-D

Yup, I just LOVE doing Mixed Media at the moment, lol! So here's another one I did last week for the birthday of my lovely niece, who turned 17! She also helped me out with remaking some of the photos, since I still haven't figured out my new camera. And she really is a great photographer :-D

Ja, ik ben helemaal DOL op het maken van Mixed Media op het moment, hahaha. Dus hier nog maar weer eentje. Deze voor de verjaardag van mijn nichtje, die alweer 17 is! Ze heeft me ook fijn geholpen met het maken van nieuwe foto's, want ik heb mijn nieuwe camera helaas nog niet helemaal door. Gelukkig is zij een hele goede fotografe :-D
